Samsung 3D glasses
Samsung have released a number of fantastic 3D TV’s and due to the fact they use active 3D technology they all require 3D glasses. Although each 3D TV comes with a free pair of glasses you may want to buy extra pairs especially if you are hosting a party or have a large family.

So how do Samsung’s 3D glasses work? Well Samsung TV’s provide a 240Hz refresh rate and the glasses refresh at half that rate (120Hz). They do this so they can actively synchronize 3D content by alternately closing and opening each side. It’s important to note that Samsung 3D glasses will only work with their own TVs so its no good bringing round your Sony 3D glasses if your friend has a Samsung 3D TV.

We’ve compared the price of Samsung SSG-2100 and SSG-2200 3D glasses from a range of online retailers.
Samsung’s nifty new 3D glasses certainly look different to the traditional 3D glasses we are used to and they come in three different versions:
1) Those powered with a replaceable coin-sized battery (circa 400 hours) -model = SSG-2100AB
2) Those with an internal rechargeable battery (will last for an average length movie) – model = SSG-2200KR
3) Those created for children
The glasses are easy to use and power up by holding down a button and power down after a minute after you fold the arms.
