Samsung 3D glasses

In order to make the most of your new 3D Samsung TV you’ll need a pair of Samsung 3D glasses. Like most TV manufacturers the Samsung 3D glasses are only compatiable with Samsung 3D TVs however they are not as expensive as the likes of Sony.

Samsung offers three types of electronic shutter 3D glasses for their TVs:

1/ Those that come with a replaceable coin-sized battery (SSG-2100AB)
2/ Those that come with an internal rechargeable battery (SSG-2200AR)
3/ Those designed for children with a rechargeable battery (SSG-2200KR)

Here comes the sciency bit – concentrate – Samsung’s LED and LCD TVs provide a 240Hz refresh rate, the glasses refresh at half that rate and synchronize to 3D content by alternately closing and opening each side. The glasses work with the 3D emitter in your Samsung television to bring the three-dimensional experience into your living room.

To turn them on simply touch a button on the side (they will power down after a minute after you fold the arms). The battery model offers about 400 hours of use between batteries.

Samsung SSG-2100AB

Samsung SSG-2200AR

Samsung SSG-2200AR 3d glasses These new Samsung 3D shutter glasses are fully rechargeable and suitable for Samsung 3D TVs. The glasses use a liquid crystal shutter lens with a refresh rate of 120. The battery lasts about 30 hours. Dimensions: 174 x 42 x 162 mm Weight: 37.6 g

Samsung SSG-2200KR

Samsung SSG-2200KR 3d glasses Samsung’s new rechargeable 3D Active Glasses are your first stop in watching 3D TV. The SSG-2200KR glasses have been designed specifically for children – now show us a child who doesn’t like watching 3D. The glasses are avilable are in either pink or blue frames. Most Samsung TVs come with two pairs of glasses however its worth buying a couple of extra pairs if you entertain a lot or a little cuck-handed.
