Samsung C8000
The C800 3D TV by Samsung is a marvel of technology. The following will review aspects of this great TV.
Picture quality
There are three screen sizes to choose from including 55, 46 and 40 inch screens. As expected from a Samsung the picture quality is top notch. The TV uses edge LED lighting (where segments of the edge lights can be dimmed separately to other segments) and LED Motion Plus which is designed to remove lag from fast-moving scenes. The C8000 also boasts a 10p white balance tool enabling you to control the white balance in 10-point intervals.

The brightness of the picture from the screens is very impressive with vivid and impressive colours. With Samsung’s 200Hz processing you are sure to recieve sharp pictures that will bring to life films and sports events. The reduction in motion blur is also a massive plus when watching 3D films which we’ll come to in a moment.

3D capabilities
As one of Samsung’s first 3D Tv’s everyone is rather excited by this feature … and thankfully Samsung pulls it off.
Users are given the option to swap to 3D via the remote control i.e. if you are watching SKY’s side-by-side option it will make the necessary changes or if you happen to be watching a 3D Blu-ray the C8000 will automatically switch into the correct active shutter playback mode. In fact TV outputs any 3D source it receives using its active shutter system; it has to, otherwise the images wouldn’t work with Samsung’s active shutter glasses.
The 3D effect achieved by Samsung is both effective and impressive. Films and documentaries gain a level of depth impossible to imagine with a 2D TV whilst gaming immerses you into its world so you can enjoy a realistic environment.

The Samsung C8000 The C8000 3D HD TV enables you to transfer your videos, music and photos from your PC or mobile device. Wirelessly and effortlessly. It even connects with multiple PCs. PVR functionality allows viewers to record and watch programs at a later time. The recorded programs are stored on a hard drive and this allows one to view programs whenever it suits. Thankfully the recordings are of the direct DVB-T2 tuner stream so there won’t be any loss of picture quality.
