Sony Bravia HX800

The HX800 is Sony’s entry level TV to the exciting world of 3D. It may be cheaper than its big brothers the HX900 and LX900 but it is still an impressive piece of kit.

The HX800 is available in more screen sizes than the HX900 including 55 inch (KDL-55HX800), 46 (KDL-46HX800) and 40 inch (KDL-40HX800). As expected there will be an abundance of technology to ensure you recieve a fantastic picture. Firstly the HX800 is a full HD 1080p TV that uses Dynamic Edge LED backlight with local dimming for improved contrast.

The HX800 also comes with Sony’s Motionflow PRO 240Hz technology and ambient sensor to ensure smooth motion and a clear image. Additional technology includes USB wireless-LAN adapter for easy wireless network connection (sold separately) and USB and DLNA playback. When it comes to 3D content the effects are incredible however in order to enjoy 3D on the HX800 you need to buy the active 3D pack (sold separately).
